A Boy Falls in love with a bird

"I'm not really a bird person or an Audubon guy who studies them, but as I was around them, they interested me."
Gordon Lightfoot

Once upon a time, there was a bird who loved living in the present. She used to believe that we only have the present moment. She used to walk out every morning, find the feed, and then fly into the rafters of the old house, safe in the knowledge that she would be protected while she slept. She discovered one day that her nest had vanished. She had nothing. No safety. No right to food or home. The bird roamed for hours and hours in the scorching heat but found no place to live or anything to eat. The summer days had been altered by the heat wave, which had brought with it a long and lethargic restfulness.

At the same time, a mechanic was offering a glass of water to his exhausted owner, who had returned home after a long day's work. He inadvertently dropped the glass of water, prompting his master to slap him and chastise him for not providing a warm welcome.

The bird, on the other hand, fainted at the same location where the water had spilled over after having flown for hours. She was sick from the sun and lie on the sand like a fish. At that moment, the mishap had turned into a life-saving event.

The entire scene intrigued the worker; he was a kind-hearted person who had been taught that his responsibility was to always give to others and be generous, and the entire scene really struck his heart. It was only by chance he was there this time, what about all the other times?

He decided that because there are so many birds that may require support, he will install a bird water feeder for all the needy birds. The owner even dismissed the concept as considering it futile. He was rich with the money and was able to make a difference, to make a fairer world. It's meaningless to be wealthy if the world around you is suffering.

The servant decided to keep the bird as a pet out of compassion and humanity. He brought a cage, fed the bird every day, and let it out during the day. And now she was finally at home, warm, safe, and fed.

One day, the thought occurred to him that there must be a large number of birds in need of his help. There are a lot of people and organisations working for animals, but no one is thinking about the voiceless birds who can't even communicate their pain and needs. Their lives become a form of torture in which they must suffer and survive. As a result, he decided to establish an NGO dedicated to birds.

We are born diverse for a reason, and changing the world was never going to be a chore for one person or one sort of thinking. New possibilities were imagined by creative minds, and he was one among them.

In a short period of time, his NGO rose exponentially, and he became a well-known and recognisable figure. This entire scenario shook the owner of the former servant's workplace. Of course, some people had a greater impact on the world more than others, but everyone played their part. Giving up old patterns is difficult for many people.

He showed that being wealthy in nature, in love, and in happy times makes all other forms of riches rich, while being poor without them makes all other forms of money poor. As a servant, he was wealthier than the owner for this reason.

All of this made him realise and convince him that no value or money is more powerful than humanity. People are poor but have a lot of money if they do not have a rich heart. To understand that we are all connected, humanity is to live and breathe that understanding, and to strive for everyone rather than just yourself. Humanity is about valuing love and kindness in all aspects of life, not just in times of need.
